Lymphoma of the Thyroid
This specimen encompasses the larynx, thyroid, upper trachea, and oesophagus. The thyroid exhibits an enlarged left lobe and, to a lesser extent, the right lobe, replaced by homogeneous pale tumour tissue. The common carotid artery is stretched over the lateral margin of the left lobe. Internally, the larynx is compressed, and the oesophagus is nearly occluded by the tumour mass. Histologically, the tumour corresponds to lymphoblastic lymphoma of the thyroid.
Trachea Hodgkin Lymphoma
This 3D model displays the tracheal bifurcation with adjacent lymph nodes, including para-tracheal and peri-bronchial nodes. The trachea is longitudinally opened, revealing fused para-tracheal lymph nodes and a pale mass above the aortic arch. Enlarged peri-bronchial lymph nodes with carbon pigment are visible, along with necrotic foci. The 3D print also includes an atheroma in the aortic wall.
