The One-Year-Old CPR and Trauma Care Simulator is the ideal training tool, providing a full-sized and anatomically correct representation of a one-year-old child. It facilitates training in basic life support procedures, including CPR and trauma care.
The multipurpose paediatric trainer has the following features:
- A fully articulated head & jaw, which features teeth and a tongue
- Disposable airways for hygienic mouth-to-mouth ventilation
- A blocked airway when the head is tilted forward
- An easily accessible chest cavity with a moulded ribcage, lungs, and heart.
- Observable chest rises during bag valve mask ventilation exercises
- Four arterial pulse points, as well as bilateral brachial, right femoral, and left posterior arterial pulse sites.
- A realistic feel face skin and moulded hair
- Intramuscular (IM) injection sites which are located on the deltoids and quadriceps
- Ophthalmic exercises can be carried out, with eyes situated in realistic eye sockets that can be opened and closed (1 normal eye and 1 dilated eye)
- Practice regular or vest cardiopulmonary resuscitation
