Introducing the One-Year-Old Multipurpose Patient Simulator, a versatile, full-bodied paediatric patient simulator that facilitates the development of child nursing and resuscitation skills. This is an effective learning tool for use in clinical skills sessions by medical and nursing students, as well as healthcare professionals within the paediatric specialty.
The infant trainer has been designed for training in the following clinical skills:

- Intubation: Oral, nasal, and digital intubation with a realistic airway (tongue, trachea, and oesophagus)
- Placement of the oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal tubes
- Tracheostomy: Supports tracheostomy tube placement, ventilation, and care
- Ostomy care: Sculpted stomas of a transverse colostomy, ileostomy, and suprapubic stoma
- CPR Feedback: Monitor compression and ventilation using the optional OMNI control and companion reporting software.
- Injection and Infusion: Advanced training arm and hand for intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous techniques
- Interchangeable genitalia: Practice male and female urinary catheterisation exercises
- Palpable pulses generated with a manual squeeze bulb, including the brachial, femoral, popliteal and tibial pulse
- Intraosseous access: An intraosseous infusion and injection system with realistic tibia bones.
The One-Year-Old Multipurpose Patient Simulator offers realistic patient training scenarios. The manikin has soft, childlike skin on the face and eyes that opens and closes for training in additional ophthalmic exercises. For ease of storage, the model is detachable at the waist, and can be transported easily using the supplied carrying bag.
