“Rocky” Canine Positioning Manikin is a canine training model designed for teaching the ability to position a dog correctly.
This is a vital veterinary skill that is required during a range of procedures, such as spaying or neutering, abdominal surgery or x-rays. Good positioning is crucial to provide efficient access during surgeries and produce the best diagnostic images during scans.
“Rocky” is incredibly lifelike with a natural range of motion and realistic resistance.
The shoulders, hips, knees, elbows, ankles and carpal joints are all moveable, allowing for the practice of a variety of positions, including positions for spinal stabilisation, dorsal recumbency and supine.
