Dr. Nicholas Dixon MbchB MRCOG
Specialist Trainee Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Dr. Nicholas Dixon is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is a Consultant based primarily at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in central London, but also works at London North West University Hospitals Trust.
Originally from Bradford in West Yorkshire, Dr Dixon graduated from University of Manchester in 2011. He trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in North West London between 2014 -2023. In addition to the core curriculum Dr Dixon completed advanced training modules in Advanced Minimal access surgery, Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology and advanced Obstetric practice.
In addition to his private practice, he contributes to NHS services at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and London North West NHS Trusts. His areas of expertise include:
• Ultrasound scanning for Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy
• Cancer diagnostics including office hysteroscopy
• Laparoscopic surgery (Ovarian cystectomy, Hysterectomy, excision endometriosis, adehsiolysis, myomectomy)
• Hysteroscopic surgery
• Early Pregnancy care - medical and surgical
• Obstetrics including vaginal and caesarean births.
Nick, along with Clarice Ciarlantini from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, headed out to Madagascar at the beginning of April 2023. Their mission is simple, to deliver healthcare and healthcare training for one month in a remote area of Madagascar.
