If you work in education, the NHS or within a charity, you’ll already understand the challenge of managing a tight budget while trying to secure the clinical skills training products needed to deliver high-quality education.
Year after year, budgets are becoming more restricted, yet the demand for better training, improved simulation, and higher standards continues to grow.
The Reality of Budget Constraints in Healthcare Education
This isn’t something we’ve assumed. We’ve heard it directly from our customers.
Recently, we emailed our community offering free clinical skills training products and anatomy models that could not be resold due to returns, discontinuations, or minor imperfections. We expected a handful of responses.
Instead, we received hundreds.
Lecturers, teachers, NHS departments, care homes and charities across both the human and veterinary training sectors reached out, explaining how much these models and simulators would support their students and staff.
What became clear very quickly was this: The barrier isn’t a lack of ambition. It isn’t a lack of need. It’s a lack of budget.
Organisations want high-quality clinical skills simulators, task trainers and anatomical models, but financial limitations often prevent them from investing in the equipment that would elevate their training programmes.
Introducing the “If Budget Wasn’t a Barrier” Initiative
That’s when we asked ourselves: Is there more we can do to support healthcare education providers facing budget pressures?
We’ve created our “If Budget Wasn’t a Barrier” form to better understand your challenges and identify opportunities to help.
We want to know what clinical skills training equipment you would invest in if funding wasn't restricted?
Would you choose more advanced simulators? New task trainers? A higher volume of anatomical models?
