Replica cast from an early modern Homo sapiens sapiens skull, found in a cave in southern France and believed to be 20,000 to 30,000 years old.

This anthropological skull model has been carefully cast from scientifically-produced replicas of specimens which are kept at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Germany. This "Cro-Magnon" skull model VP752/1 / 1001295 also includes a relief map on the pedestal base to show the geographical area where the specimen was found.

This anthropological skull belonged to an early modern Homo sapiens sapiens which lived during the ice age of the neo-Paleolithic era. The specimen was discovered at a cave in Southern France in 1868. Its age is estimated to be between 20,000 and 30,000 years old.
