This FlexibleFemale Pelvis with Femurs is made from a natural casting of an adult female pelvis with sacrum, with the hip bones and sacrum flexibly mounted on elastic to allow for demonstration of joint articulation. In addition, the pelvis model offers the following features:
- L4 and L5 vertebra are mounted on elastic cord, which may be easily removed from the model.
- The sacrum may be removed to demonstrate movement in the iliosacral joint.
- The femoral stumps are moveable and removable.
This high quality model is ideal for teaching anatomy and function of the female pelvis in relation to the hip joints. A non-articulating version of this model is available (4059).
