This flexible horse leg skeleton model is ideal for study of the anatomy and gait of the horse. Veterinary students can study the anatomical features of the bones, which include the scapula, humerus, forearm (fused radius and ulna), cannon bone and foot. The foot consists of the long pastern bone (or first phalanx), the short pastern bone (or second phalanx) and the coffin bone (or third phalanx), which is enclosed by the hoof. The equine forelimb (front leg) is mounted on a stand and the joints are articulated. An ideal model for detailed veterinary and anatomical study.
