The Michael Angelo ( ??Mikey ?�) K9 is a highly realistic canine endoscopy training model.
Developed to teach student vets and veterinary nurses the delicate skills required for manoeuvring the endoscopy, allowing veterinary students to become comfortable when carrying out the procedure.
The Mikey K9 Endoscopy mannikin features the following:
- Upper GI Tract that features very realistic oesophagus and Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES)
- Stomach with rugal folds, incisura angularis, pylorus and pyloric sphincter
- In the duodenum, practitioners will be able to spot the Peyer s patch, duodenal papilla and duodenal flexure
Endoscopy is a key skill to help diagnose GI disorders and take biopsies. Good training is vital to reduce the length of the procedure and reduce the risk of complications.
