Consent

Consent is an important concept for teenagers to understand, especially as they navigate relationships and explore their sexuality. It means giving and receiving permission for any activity that involves touching or intimacy, such as kissing or sexual activity. Teenagers should understand consent because they are beginning to explore their sexuality and engage in intimate relationships. Knowing about consent helps ensure that all parties involved are comfortable, safe, and respected. It also promotes healthy communication and boundary-setting skills, which are important for building positive relationships.

Teen Anxiety

Teenage anxiety is a common experience that can cause overwhelming feelings of fear and nervousness. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including academic pressure, social media, and family problems. It's important to know that you're not alone and that help is available. Talking to a trusted adult, such as a parent or school counsellor, can be a good first step. There are also resources available, like therapy or support groups, that can help manage anxiety.
