The vest can be worn by anyone and can be used in various positions, e.g., standing or sitting. When the Heimlich manoeuvre is performed correctly, the user will be aware as a foam plug will shoot into the air.
The Act+Fast Choking Vest enables students to gain confidence in basic, but essential, life-saving techniques. It follows protocols provided by the UK Resuscitation Council, European Resuscitation Council and equivalent organisations worldwide.
The vest is available in multiple colours: blue, red, and yellow.
- Blue (1017938): The blue vest is the original Act+Fast Choking Vest, which facilitates training in the Abdominal Thrust / Heimlich s Manoeuvre.
- Red (1014589): The red vest facilitates training in the same procedures as the original, however it is enhanced with a back cushion. This allows users to practice giving back blows to a choking patient.
- Yellow (1022651): The yellow vest is the same as the red vest, however it is a children s trainer, designed for use by children.
