The Adult Brain (Complex) Phantom is designed to replicate an average human brain with highly realistic tissue-mimicking materials suitable for Ultrasound, MRI, and X-Ray/CT scans. Its advanced design provides lifelike T2 relaxation times, making it ideal for T2-weighted MRI imaging, while proton-density imaging also yields excellent results. T1-weighted imaging is possible, though T1 values are less realistic (~100 ms).
This complex brain phantom features arteries and vessels suitable for angiography training and imaging applications. It can be used with Barium-sulphate, Iodine-based, Gadolinium-based, Microbubble, and Iron Oxide-based contrast agents.
