Adult Torso (Dynamic) Phantom for X-Ray, CT & MRI
The Adult Human Torso (Dynamic) Phantom is a lifelike, anatomically accurate simulator from neck to pelvis, designed for MRI and X-Ray/CT applications. This advanced phantom features a realistic skeleton with a three-layered structure and inner porosity, and all major organs are included. It is ideal for applications such as angiography and imaging research.
Engineered with dynamic functionality, the phantom includes a realistic heart with a TPS heart pump and breathable lungs with a TPS lung pump. This enables lifelike heartbeat and respiratory motion during imaging. All organs are made from urethane-based tissue-mimicking materials, while bones are fabricated from patented ceramic-reinforced epoxy-based composite material.
Compatible with Barium-sulfate, Iodine-based, Gadolinium-based, Microbubble, and Iron Oxide-based contrast agents.
In terms of MRI applications, the phantom tissues have realistic T2 relaxation time values, making it ideal for T2-weighted MRI methods. Proton-density imaging also yields very good results. T1-weighted imaging is possible, though T1 values are less realistic (~100 ms).
