A wound creation kit that consists of 4 moulds and 4 make-up colours to create different types of realistic wounds for management and treatment training
The Advanced Casualty Simulation Set can be used to create realistic wounds without any previous knowledge of applying make-up or special effects.
The Advanced Casualty Simulation Set contains:
- 1 mould for cuts
- 1 mould for a scrape
- 1 mould for a laceration
- 1 mould for a textile imprint
- 4 make-up colours
- would simulation paste
- fake blood
- fixative powder
- meat paste
- isopropanol
- spatula
- cotton swabs
The reusable moulds are to be filled with the simulation paste with use of the spatula and left to dry. No glue or adhesive is required to adhere the wounds to the dummy or skin, simply press the filled molds against the surface. The fake blood can then be applied once the wound is glued in place using the supplied cotton swabs. The meat paste can also be applied to the wound to give it a very realistic effect.
The textile imprint can be used to show marks caused by such things as a seat belt in a car. The four make-up colours can be used to represent hematomas. The wounds can be reused several times whilst still attached to the subject by removing the previously applied bandage, briefly washing the area and reapplying the fake blood.
The wounds are to be disposed of once use has ceased, saving you time and effort on cleaning and maintaining them. They are very simple to remove from the dummy of skin. The fake blood, meat paste, fixative powder and wound simulation paste can be replaced separately once consumed.
The Advanced Casualty Simulation Set can be used in a huge array of settings, such as during first aid training and basic in-house training courses within schools, universities and workplaces.
