The Advanced Gynaecologic Simulator by Anatomy Lab is based on a full-size, female adult's lower torso. The gynaecologic simulator is complete with standard lithotomy, enabling medical teachers to demonstrate to students multiple gynaecologic procedures. Medical students and nurses will also be able to practice placement of IUDs, laparoscopic examinations and diaphragm placement.
This medical simulator has been created with advanced tear-resistant material and replaceable skin. The uteri and cervix modules can be assembled to suit the trainer or students needs. This gynaecologic training simulator also includes the relevant internal anatomy to carry out the training. The internal anatomy includes a uterus, ovary, fallopian tubes and round ligament.
The 5 supplied uteri include:
- Anteverted uterus
- Retroverted uterus
- 7 to 9 weeks pregnant uterus
- 10 to 12 weeks pregnant uterus
- 20 weeks pregnant uterus

- Recognition of a normal and abnormal cervix, as well as normal and pregnant uteri
- Measurement and examination can be conducted
- External pelvic measurement
- Bi-manual examination
- Rectal-vaginal examination (including insertion of speculum and colposcopy)
- Analysis and recognition of cervical lesions
- Placement and removal of IUD
- Diaphragm placement (birth control)
- Practice use of laparoscope
