This Arterial Puncture Arm is a unique way for medical students to practice drawing arterial blood samples, for monitoring blood gases analysis, from a patient's arm.

The life-like arterial pressure creates a realistic backflow of blood, which is present in the syringe. The skin on the hand and the artery has been designed to be removed and replaced for continued use.

Multiple clinical skills can be gained with this medical trainer. Students will be able to confirm the correct needle location in the artery whilst also identifying puncture locations via palpation of the pulse at the radial sites.
