The Bone Clones Large Canine Skeleton is a detailed anatomical replica cast from a large male Bullmastiff, one of the heaviest domestic dog breeds, typically weighing 110–130 lbs.
Known for their gentle, affectionate temperament and loyalty, Bullmastiffs were originally bred in England by gamekeepers to protect estates from poachers. While moderately active, they require attention, training, and are prone to certain health issues such as hip and elbow dysplasia, dental disease, obesity, and cancer. Their skull reflects their canid heritage and breed characteristics: 60% Mastiff and 40% Bulldog, with a short muzzle, level or slight underbite, and a heavy, square skull with moderately wide-set eyes.
This Bones Clones Large Canine Skeleton is ideal for veterinary programs, comparative anatomy studies, and educational use. The model is available as a fully assembled skeleton on a stand (wooden base available separately) or disarticulated with bones provided loose for hands-on study.
Both versions offer an excellent study model of a giant breed’s skeletal structure and provide insight into functional anatomy, movement, and morphology.
As Bone Clones products are imported to order from the USA, all models are non-returnable unless faulty. Please contact our Customer Services team for further information.
