This dog head dental model has artificial teeth and bones which are surrounded by soft, rubber simulated gums. It also includes the periosteum and periodontal ligament.
Students can practice nerve blocks, luxation, elevation and extraction of any canine tooth. In addition to this, they can simulate scenarios with the tongue, epiglottis, oesophagus and trachea, allowing for canine intubation training.
Included with this surgical dental model is one radio dense extraction jaw set, which allows veterinary students to practice positioning dogs for radiography prior to and after tooth extraction.
This veterinary training model is ideal when running long-term training programmes as the maxilla and mandible are easily replaceable*.
