An anatomically accurate training model designed for learning and practicing central venous cannulation.
Designed for learning and practicing central venous cannulation, this Life/form CVC training model LF01087 is ideal for ACLS and ATLS students, and other training in the emergency medical field.
Anatomically accurate, palpation of the CVC model is exactly the same as on a patient, in order that participants can identify all external and internal landmarks such as the sternal notch, sternocleidomastoid and clavicle.
Internal features include a replaceable muscle and bone section, subclavian, internal jugular, external jugular, and carotid. Use of a Swan-Ganz catheter is possible and changing of the internal tubing is extremely easy. The neck of the simulator is positioned to the left, making landmark identity quite easy visually. The sternal notch "sinks" 1 - 1.5 cm when palpated.
The CVC trainer comes with fluid supply bags, replaceable skin, needles, one litre of Life/form blood, and instruction guide in a hard carry case included (please note fluid supply stand not included).
