This lifelike educational model of the external female genitalia has been created from a soft, realistic plastic, with a set of six interchangeable cervix simulations.

The cervix parts are inserted into the training model permitting the student to practice examining and measuring the cervix prior to birth. The stages covered in this model are: no dilatation, 2cm dilatation with 50% effacement, and 2cm, 5cm, 7cm, and 9cm with full effacement. Due to the lifelike nature of the materials used, the model should be treated with the same care as a real patient, giving it extra added value as a educational aid.

Teaching guidelines are included and the model comes in a plastic carry case. An ideal midwifery education tool.
