The Deep Face/Infratemporal Fossa 3D Printed Anatomy Model is a model of a right face and neck sectioned along the midline. The ramus, coronoid process, and head of the mandible have been removed to reveal the deep infratemporal fossa. Additionally, the pterygoid muscles have been extracted to expose the lateral pterygoid plate and the posterior surface of the maxilla. The buccinator muscle has been preserved and can be observed originating from the external aspect of the maxilla, the pterygomandibular raphe, and the external aspect of the edentulous mandible.
