The Digestive System Model replicates the entire digestive tract, spanning from the mouth to the anus. It includes:

  • A removable lower jaw half that includes teeth, the muscles used for chewing, and salivary glands.
  • A dissected pancreas, providing a view of the pancreatic and common bile ducts.
  • A section of the duodenum that has been opened up, revealing the hepato-pancreatic ampulla and the entrance to the vermiform appendix.
  • A segment that goes through the rectum, anal canal, and anus, uncovering the anal columns and anal sphincter.

Additionally, the liver and the two-part stomach can be detached for easier examination.
