The RealCare Geriatric Simulator by Realityworks is a wearable suit which allows students to gain a deeper understanding of a range of the physical challenges and ailments experienced by elderly patients.
The geriatric simulator allows students to experience the following sensations:
- Visual Impairment
- Restricted motion
- Decreased mobility
- Stooping
- Sensation loss in hands
- Joint stiffness
- Loss of strength
- Fatigue
- Change in body image
- Loss of sense of balance
- Confusion

- 1 x Weighted vest
- 2 x Ankle weights
- 4 x Wrist weights
- 2 x Elbow restraints
- 2 x Knee restraints
- 2 x Gloves
- 1 x Cervical collar
- 1 x Set of 6 visual impairment glasses
- 1 x Soft-sided Zipper Storage case
- Teaching tools (9 lesson curriculum, presentation slides and assessment activities).
PLEASE NOTE: a standard walker frame can be used with this product (walker not supplied).
