The update kit comprises an adult torso overlay that promotes accurate identification of auscultation sites and optimises sound recognition when using a stethoscope. When the stethoscope is positioned correctly, heart and lung sounds are easily detectable through either the stethoscope itself or external speakers. The use of external speakers presents a valuable opportunity to share sounds with the entire classroom.
