This Paediatric Injectable Training Arm is a lifelike reproduction of the arm of an 8 year old child for practice and teaching of venipuncture and intramuscular injection techniques and procedures used with young children.

Crafted from realistic vinyl skin and featuring latex veins, the skin on the arm actually rolls as you palpate the vein and you will feel the characteristic 'pop' as the needle enters the skin. Realistic flashback occurs when the needle is properly inserted. The arm pivots at the upper arm for easy accessibility to antecubital fossa, along the forearm, and at the back of the hand. A bony landmark at the should allows for easy identification of muscle tissue for intramuscular injections.

The Injectable Training Arm can be attached to the left shoulder of the Life/form Child CPR/Airway Management Torso (LF03633). The arm comes with white skin, two fluid supply bags, 3 cc syringe, 12 cc syringe, needle, one pint Life/form blood, teaching guide, and carry case. Replacement skins and an aerosol vein resealant are available on request.
