Suicide prevention training includes the use of a hook knife to properly release the ligature and this specialist manikin has been designed to allow teams to learn how to manage ligature suicides effectively and sensitively.
This emergency manikin also has anatomically correct features allowing for staff to practice airway management skills, with the hope of reviving someone who has been found hanging.
