Male model for training in the insertion and removal of a foley catheter, with a reservoir that passes fluid on successful insertion.

This Male Catheterisation Model (160-1931) by Simulaids is made of durable vinyl and designed for teaching and practicing the procedure for inserting and stabilizing a 16 FR Foley catheter, including how to demonstrate balloon inflation procedures. The model is anatomically accurate and has a skin-like feel, and the stand mounting allows for training at a table top.

When properly catheterised, the catheterisation trainer will pass fluid from the internal fluid reservoir simulating a bladder. Using this catheterisation model, instructors will be able to ensure their students understand sterilisation techniques and preparing the patient for the procedure as well as insertion and removal of a catheter.

Also available in a female version (PP01932) and as a money-saving set of two models (PP01933).
