The Metastatic Tumour in Lung from Primary Testicular Cancer 3D Printed Anatomy Model is a longitudinally sliced right lung specimen with parts of four ribs. It reveals numerous rounded tumour nodules within the lung tissue, ranging from 5 to 30 mm in size. These tumours display a varied appearance, with cut surfaces showing pale yellow and dark brown colours.
One tumour is seen extending along the bronchus of the lower lobe, forming a cast. Additionally, several nodules protrude from the pleural surface, some displaying central indentations from necrosis and bleeding. This illustrates pulmonary metastases originating from a mixed germ cell testicular tumour, likely choriocarcinoma stemming from a malignant teratoma.
