Introducing the Newborn Head (Complex) Phantom for X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound & MRI, designed for diagnostic medical imaging training and POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound). Based on an average newborn head, this phantom features realistic tissue-mimicking materials suitable for X-Ray, CT, ultrasound, and MRI. It can also be used with Barium-sulphate, Iodine-based, and Microbubble contrast agents.
Developed in collaboration with physician experts from the Sonographic Clinical Assessment of the Newborn (SCAN) Training Program at the University of Calgary (Department of Paediatrics), this phantom provides highly accurate neonatal brain anatomy for hands-on training and imaging system calibration.
