This anatomy model of the middle ear shows the three auditory ossicles: the malleus (hammer), incus (anvil) und stapes (stirrup) at 20 times life-size.

This A100 / 1009697 model of the ossicles is made from BONElike material cast from an enlargement of original ossicles, created using micro CT. Ideal for studying the micro-anatomy of the ear in detail, and for explaining the otosclerosis, a typical condition that affects the auditory ossicles causing them to stiffen and leading to hearing loss.
