A primary care training manikin, offering practice in a range of key skills.

The Patient Care Manikin is a highly durable, life-size and fully articulated manikin, designed for training in a range of primary care techniques. This patient care simulator (150-1372) is ideal for the teaching and practice of patient handling and transfer, correct positioning in bed, wheelchair, on bedpan, commode or other hospital equipment.

The patient care manikin features accurate, interchangeable male & female genitalia, allowing students to practice patient-sensitive bathing techniques and general hygiene procedures. Also features a removable wig allowing for shampooing and vinyl skin which can be used with wound moulages to practice care of decubitus ulcers and realistic dressing changes and bandage application. Ideal for hospitals, nursing homes and education facilities. Includes three year warranty. This manikin weights 16 kg / 35lb and is available in 48 kg / 105 lb version (PP01370).
