A tool that provides air pressure feedback for training in pneumatic otoscopy procedures.

The Pneumatic Otoscopy Kit has been produced in conjuction with the University of Virginia to provide an essential tool for studying the proper examination of the ear. The pneumatic otoscopy has proven to be an essential element of ear examination yet studies have shown that they are often performed incorrectly.

With the aid of the feedback provided by the otoscopy kit, students and practicing medics can learn how to generate the correct amount of air pressure needed to perform accurate pneumatic otoscopy to test for tympanic membrane mobility.

Otoscopy Kit includes a pneumatic pressure gauge, two pneumatic ears with pressure tubing and a package of approximately 100 ear drums. Replacement pneumatic ears (LF01076) are available, please contact us to purchase.
