This QuickClot trauma trainer (100851) has been designed to imitate the thigh region of a person which presents with the combination of both a knife wound and entry and exit of a gun wound for simulated training purposes. The simulator represents the tissue loss that would be expected and would require speedy intervention.

This model can be used with QuickClot Hemostatic dressings or similar products to train students in dressing irregular, large wounds and to teach them about the risks from large blood loss. The model allows for focused training on rapid packing and then later unpacking deep complex wounds for more extensive skills practice.
