The upper abdominal organs are detachable from the kidneys and are placed in the correct anatomical position. The front half of the kidney can be removed to show the renal medulla, renal cortex, renal calices and the renal pelvis. The upper abdomen features the spleen, pancreas, bile ducts opened, gall bladder opened and the duodenum which is partially open.
