The model is the standard adult head, featuring electronic control and simulating up to 29 retinopathies, for both the left and right eye.
Retinopathy phantoms identified in the left eye include:

- Senile Muscular Degenerations
- Central Retinal Vein Occlusion
- Hypertensive Retinopathy
- Optic Nerve Depression
- Optic Nerve Atrophy
- Background Type Diabetic Retinopathy
- Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy
- Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Retinopathy
Retinopathy phantoms identified in the right eye include:
- Normal Retina
- Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion
- Hypertensive Retinopathy
- Optic Disc Oedema
- Optic Nerve Atrophy
- Background Type Diabetic Retinopathy
- Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy
Additionally, clinical features including fibrous proliferations, red spots, retinal microaneurysms and blood spots can be observed for the differential diagnosis of the different retinopathies. Student will be able to gain proficiency in fundoscopy and the correct utilisation of an ophthalmoscope.
