Enhance radiography sessions with this diverse collection of SonoEZ Paediatric Ultrasound Trainers.
The SonoEZ Paediatric Ultrasound Trainer series is designed for realistic ultrasound-guided vascular access training in paediatric scenarios. Each model contains fluid-filled vessels that can be visualised, compressed under probe pressure, and used for needle or catheter insertion, depending on the model.
Trainer Models Overview:
- ZVK (Neck/Upper Chest) features the internal jugular vein and carotid artery on both sides of the neck. The vein compresses under probe pressure to simulate real cannulation conditions.
- Femur (Groin/Femoral Region) simulates the femoral vein and femoral artery. The femoral vein is fluid-filled and compressible. Suitable for catheterisation practice.
- Cannula (Shallow Vessels) includes two small, fluid-filled vessels at different depths for practising cannulation of superficial vessels. The PD vessel variant has no fluid and is used for precision puncture only.
- Vessel (Subcutaneous Access) contains two 2 mm diameter vessels – one straight and one branched – located just under the surface. Designed for needle puncture only (not suitable for catheterisation).
