A life-size skull with a removable eye and sectioned tongue to show the five special senses: sight, smell, taste, hearing and balance.

This Special Senses Model has been specifically designed to assist the understanding of the five senses: Sight, Smell, Taste, Hearing and Balance. The model consists of a life-size skull with a removable eye and sectioned tongue. Each sense is represented on the model with the accompanying nerves.

Parts of the skull are divided allowing every significant nerve to be displayed. The trigeminal nerve is flexible allowing the petrosal nerve to be visible and each of the component bones are identified.

The special senses model comes with an 18 minute lecture on CD and key card.
