The Standard Arm is designed as a practical training accessory for use with all Chester Chest models. It features a dual-lumen 5Fr PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) exiting via the basilic vein at the inner bicep, reflecting commonly preferred clinical placement. The basilic vein is slightly raised to support easy identification and enhance training realism.
A pre-positioned 20G IV catheter is also included in the forearm, allowing for additional intravenous access practice. Both the dual-lumen PICC and 20G IV catheter are connected to an internal simulated blood reservoir, enabling realistic practice of blood withdrawal and fluid infusion techniques. The model also supports demonstration of cleansing procedures, dressing application, and the use of securement devices across all access sites.
Compatible with all Chester Chest models.
