The Subclavian Access Option can be seamlessly integrated into the Simon SIMON Patient Care Simulator for an enhanced training experience.

With this optional accessory, the training manikin can simulate Port-a-Cath and Hickman/Broviac catheter sites, providing direct central venous access to the heart. This provides medical students with an opportunity to practice subclavian vein cannulation, enabling the infusion of fluids, simulated medication, and blood.

Furthermore, the Subclavian Access option enables students to develop confidence in identifying reliable landmarks, increasing patient comfort, and minimising the risk of infection or arterial damage.
