This Surgical Wound for Suturing is a large wound (20cm long!) that allows for practice of suturing.
It is the prefect adhesive wound to stimulate a caesarean section wound or knee endoprosthesis operation wound, but it can be stuck anywhere to practice many wound sutures - even glued over joints due to its flexible material!
It is made from soft, skin-friendly material, and adheres without additional glue to its supply base, a doll or to the skin of a simulated patient. It is also reusable, as the adhesive can be reactivated by simply wiping with medical alcohol. However, if required for a longer-term adhesion, the use of a suitable skin glue is advised.
The Surgical Wound for Suturing is ideal for trainee medical students, nurses and surgeons in attendance at university medicine courses.
