A leg model with pre-cut wounds for practicing suturing.
The Life/Form Suture Practice Leg is a reproduction of the human leg with 'wounds' to give students a realistic experience of suturing. The model is crafted from a life-like vinyl skin (complete with wrinkles and pores) over a stichable foam. The skin is soft and pliable for easy sewing but still strong enough that sutures will not tear when tightened. The model comes with three pre-cut 'wounds' which can be sutured multiple times until the skin around them has worn out, at which point new 'wounds' can be cut, meaning the leg can be practiced on hundreds of times before the model wears out.
The Suture Training Leg Model comes with a starter package of sutures and instruction booklet.
