The Tertiary Syphilis 3D Printed Anatomy Model is a specimen that consists of the upper part of a skull. On its outer surface, there are several defined necrotic areas located to the left of the midline along the parasagittal area. These lesions appear brown and reach up to 3-4 cm in diameter at their widest points. They have caused an erosion of the outer layer of the skull, with thickening of the nearby periosteum due to fibrinous inflammation. These lesions are indicative of chronic syphilitic damage known as gumma of the skull, a hallmark of benign tertiary syphilis.
