This mode consists of a set of four average size thyroids and one larynx. The thyroid model shows the following conditions:

  • normal thyroid
  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis (lymphocytic thyroiditis)
  • Graves' disease
  • papillary carcinoma

The thyroid model set also shows the following structures: hyoid bone, thyroid membrane, thyroid cartilage, cricoid cartilage, and trachea.

The Thyroid Disease Model includes a two sided patient education card to explain the anatomy of the thyroid and the diseases displayed, included hypothyroidism hyperthyroidism, and a base.
