An adult manikin to aid with the teaching and practice of home tracheostomy care.

The Adult Tracheostomy Care Patient Training Model is perfect for aiding in the teaching of the skills needed to perform tracheostomy care at home. The manikin features oral and nasal passages, the pharynx, epiglottis, trachea, esophagus, tracheostomy site and cricoid cartilage.

The mouth and jaw are flexible to allow oral suctioning. The trachea branches into the left and right bronchial trees. Students are able to practice suctioning techniques, proper cuff inflation, dressing changes and other techniques. The tracheostomy manikin can also be used to demonstrate or practice cleansing and maintenance of the external site.

The Tracheostomy Care Patient Education Model includes one tracheostomy tube, instruction guide and hard carry case. Replacement Adult Tracheostomy Tube (LF01170) available, please contact us to purchase.
