Maximise the potential of training sessions with this Transparent Female Catheterisation Model. Observe the anatomical structure of the pelvis whilst performing correct catheter insertion. Receive life-like resistance and pressure when the catheter is inserted correctly.

With this female catheterisation model medical students can practice the following:

  • Catheter placement
  • Withdrawal of catheter
  • Bladder irrigation
  • Correct handling of female anatomy

The training model has the following anatomy: Pudendum, perineum, labia, clitoris, urethral orifice and bladder. The urethra is supple and the sphincter is resistant, allowing for a life-like response.

When the catheter is inserted correctly urine (water) will flow. The simulated urine is supplied via an external fluid bag. The non-return valve ensures the catheter can be removed without leakage.

Please ensure the catheter is lubricated before insertion takes place. It is normal for some water to appear in the model.
