Enhance emergency and combat medical training with the highly realistic Trauma Arm Task Trainer “Trauma Tina”. Created in collaboration with the German Armed Forces, this simulator meets all important requirements for realistic and professional training in civil and tactical applications in accordance with current TCCC guidelines making it ideal for trauma surgeons, military medics, paramedics, nurses, and advanced first aid training courses.
The model realistically represents a human upper limb from the fingers to the upper arm and features multiple severe, life-threatening injuries, including:
- Arterial gunshot entry and exit wounds (brachial artery)
- Crush wound with ulnar artery and tissue bleeding
- Incised suicidal wound parallel to the vessel (radial artery)
- Stab wound (brachial artery)
A key feature of the simulator is its fully functional bleeding system, which allows independent and manually adjustable blood flow from each wound for highly realistic haemorrhage control training.
Students can practise and refine critical lifesaving skills such as:
- Applying direct pressure to severe bleeding wounds
- Packing wounds with gauze
- Applying pressure dressings
- Correct tourniquet application on the upper arm in accordance with TCCC guidelines (tourniquet not included)
The trainer supports wound packing for exit and stab wounds and allows instructors to create dynamic training scenarios with varying bleeding intensities. When the correct treatment is applied, including effective tourniquet placement, bleeding will stop.
The internal two-part core, separated at the elbow, allows natural arm flexion without a mechanical joint, while the durable, high-quality silicone body accurately replicates human soft tissue and vessel anatomy. All wounds are hand-painted for added realism.
The simulation blood system includes a blood bag and connector, allowing quick setup and repeated use.
