The Replacement 24amp Battery is an optional accessory that ensures longevity of the Thermal Imaging Suit.
Key features of the battery include:
- Functions similar to a mobile phone, offering versatility in training scenarios, as the suit can be pre-heated and then used for a duration of approximately 1-2 hours. This is subject to ambient temperature conditions and colder conditions may accelerate battery consumption.
- Instead of pre-heating the suit, an alternative approach involves securely fastening the battery to a designated holster on the leg. By doing this, users have the capability to extend the operational duration to an estimated 3-4 hours, dependent on ambient pressure. This capability proves particularly advantageous in the context of search and rescue (SAR) or urban SAR operations.
- Equipped with a watertight e-o cord connector, a piezo switch, and an over-pressure valve, whilst also incorporating a built-in blue LED system that serves as an indicator of the remaining charge within the battery.
- The battery is a waterproof lithium-ion battery, crafted from advanced and rechargeable lithium-ion cells.
