This detailed eleven part sheep anatomy model is scaled to half the size of an adult female sheep (ewe). The sheep model is an excellent educational aid suitable for learning internal and external ovine anatomy including the ruminant, reproductive and digestive systems.
The body is painted to represent sheep's fleece on one side and muscles and tendons on the other. The ovine model divides down the midline revealing the removable internal organs. This half scale sheep model has the following features:
- Splits down the midline giving a full lateral cross-section for anatomical study and removal of internal organs
- 10 removable parts including the sheep muscular exterior layer, ruminant (3 pieces), small and large intestine, heart (2 pieces), spleen and kidney, lung, and rectum, bladder and reproductive tract (1 piece)
- Painted bones and spinal cord
- Is supplied with a manual and online teaching aid access
This full colour anatomically correct half-size model of a sheep would make an excellent educational aid in a veterinary classroom or clinic. The sheep model is supplied with a display base.
