Gain proficiency and perfect your dissection skills with the Sim*Dissection Training Kit by Sim-Vivo.
This medical training simulator will enable students to practice accurately using both of their hands, in a coordinated fashion, whist dissecting tissue planes. The supplied learning curriculum will focus on strengthening and training the non-dominate hand to use the tissue forceps in a variety of exercises, such as placing beads on a post and cutting form from paper and cloth.
After the simultaneous use of the tissue forceps and scissors become comfortable, the students are then able to practice the 'retract and cut' technique. This technique is used to remove masses and veins from simulated subcutaneous tissues by separating the tissue planes.
The included dissection practice board comes with multiple structures that need to be dissected away from the surrounding tissues, providing a realistic dissection practice experience.
All instruments and materials are included, along with a guideline book and video tutorials explaining and directing the practice dissection exercises.
